- Teach art classes
- Create drawings, paintings using materials such as pens, watercolors and oil
- Create sculptures, statues and other three-dimensional artwork by shaping and carving
- Supervise other artists or apprentices
- Teach students art techniques and methods such as drawing, painting, sculping, or other forms of artistic expression
- Produce computerized images and drawings
